Product Overview

Engineered for Safety and Durability

FRP platform walkways provide a superior alternative to traditional steel and aluminum walkway systems in industrial environments where corrosion, weight, and safety are critical concerns. Manufactured from fiberglass reinforced polymer with advanced resin formulations, these walkways deliver exceptional strength-to-weight ratios combined with inherent corrosion resistance that eliminates the need for painting, coating, or galvanizing.

Our FRP platform walkways are available in multiple configurations including molded grating, pultruded grating, and covered grating systems to suit different load requirements and slip-resistance needs. Each walkway is engineered with a silica-grit top surface or concave profile to provide superior traction in wet, oily, or icy conditions, exceeding OSHA and ANSI A1264.2 slip-resistance standards for industrial walking surfaces.

Lightweight at approximately one-third the weight of equivalent steel structures, FRP platform walkways reduce installation time and labor costs significantly. The modular design allows for rapid assembly with standard hand tools, and panels can be easily cut to size on-site. With a service life of 20+ years in corrosive environments and zero maintenance requirements, FRP walkways deliver the lowest total cost of ownership for industrial platforms.

Product features

FRP Platform Walkways — Key Features

Advanced engineering for superior performance

Superior Slip Resistance

Integrated grit top surface or concave profile provides COF ≥ 0.6 wet, exceeding OSHA standards and ensuring worker safety in all weather conditions.

Zero Maintenance

FRP will not rust, rot, or corrode. No painting, coating, galvanizing, or cathodic protection needed over 20+ year service life.

Lightweight & Easy Installation

Weighing 65% less than steel, FRP panels can be manually carried and installed without heavy lifting equipment, reducing project labor costs by up to 40%.

Non-Conductive & Non-Magnetic

Electrically non-conductive and non-magnetic properties make FRP walkways ideal for electrical substations, data centers, and sensitive electronic equipment areas.

Customizable Color & Size

Available in safety-highlight colors (yellow, orange) with custom panel dimensions and cutouts to match exact project specifications.
